I hear my songs with a band mostly, but due to touring circumstances often tour solo or duo...It's a good test of songs to see that they can stand up solo. The songs come out of me hard and heavy-- regularly. They walk the line between Neo Folk, raw well made rock, and rootsy pop. They have A LOT of melody and drive, even when they are quiet. They have a lot of heart, and a good dose of intellect, and every few songs also has a political and social consciousness....sometimes you have to listen twice to get em, though some are as easily grabbed onto as an old hank williams.
